choosing a ticket barrier to go through at the train station, obviously you take the one with the shortest queue until someone realises the one they are joining isn't the shortest queue and jumps over into your one....once the choice is made there's no changing your mind unless you want to go to the back of the queue! This happens most mornings and evenings.
