It's not the actual ads mate, it's the fact that the " fashion " industry has decided that thin is good and fat is bad. Leading to all the unhappiness and health problems that go hand in hand with this message .
Fat is bad. It's a terribly unhealthy lifestyle. I do believe fashion designers need to stop depicting skeletons in their clothing but the ad in the BBC article shows a healthy woman in a bathing suit. It is an ad for a protein company whose sole purpose is to assist in exercise. What's bad about that?

Because it's showing a body shape that 99% of women would never achieve even with all the protein and excercise in the world. The sole purpose of the advert is to sell women a product that will never be of use or benefit to them whatsoever.

It's an ad for protein, correct? You use protein when you exercise regularly. I would say with proper diet and exercise a great body is not unachievable. Anyone that honestly looks at that ad and thinks they need to look exactly like the woman has mental issues that do not stem from simply seeing an ad. It's silly to ban them.
