I probed him about DoF and he made out there was no interest in one. Perhaps he doesn't know much about the goings on within the club. I'm interested to find out. After all, most the noise about appointing a DoF has just come from the fans....on forums.

Perhaps you said DoF and he assumed you meant Director of Finance?

Why would the finance department know anything about a Director of Football?

For example on the Saturday morning 5 hours before it was announced that Moshiri had acquired 49.9% they did not know either about it or who Moshiri was.....

Maybe this is it...maybe he has no idea...but I thought it was interesting so I shared what I heard

We were on Thursday but I have not spoken to anyone or heard since. I haven't chased neither, figured when there was news it would be passed on.

Will see if I can find out anything tomorrow.

I love this guy already - Moreno, Luis Alberto and Poulsen - cost nil to Sevilla. Liverpool coughed up £30M for the three.. (18, 8 and 5M (via Juve) respectively) - obviously using their "Southampton Model" and barely worth a bean between them...
