Two possible motivations - he was allowing his closest business partner the opportunity to do his own thing at Everton - an ambition that developed within Moshiri over the 18 months or so he had considered an acquisition of Everton shares, and/or Usmanov genuinely is prepared to play the long game at Arsenal, regardless of the current impasse with Kroenke.

If it had been Usmanov's intent to invest in Everton prior to Moshiri acquiring his shares, he would have sold his R&W holding to Moshiri or found a buyer for 100% of R&W.

It is possible that Usmanov's intentions have changed since Moshiri acquired his interest in Everton. I still find this unlikely despite the rumours and the ultimate source of the suggestion.

I wonder if there is is any facts backing these rumours or are these just romantic assumptions and conclusions?

If this xmas time frame would become true what would need to happend before it. Could Usmanov do it behind the scenes or would it be out in the open quickly?
 

Someone who I very rarely get any info from who has good contacts at Everton claims moshiri is Defo not doing this alone and there is a 2nd billionaire involved and the only club we can't match in England financially is city .

I'm not claiming any ITK nonsense here just passing on what I've heard .

I have been suspecting this for a while. New stadium. Huge transfer funds. Makes perfect sense to me.

@The Esk How would it work if there was another investor involved? Would they buy a percentage of Blue Heaven LTD? similar situation to R&W holdings at Arsenal?

This bloke form BP thats been banded about - is he likely to be part of that or part of Everton?
