lol Messi levels of investment.

I cannot cope with this forum sometimes.

If we were in that league we would be getting linked with Laporte and Varane to partner Stones not Scott Dann ffs.

Behave yourselves, you're making a show of us.

They wouldn't come so it would be a waste of time. We won't know how much we've got to spend because we won't be able to buy elite players until we're at the elite level.

I'd like to stress that Usmanov would face real obstacles in disposing of his Arsenal shares, he can't expect favours off Kroenke and finding a buyer for a significant minority interest that carries no control or influence is extremely difficult.

I agree completely, so why are people making blues look like absolute weapons by chatting if we wanted Messi we'd go and get him.

Look at how City started when they got money, buying players two levels above what they had, the werent goi round buying Aguero and Silva level talent straight away.

Could the other Russia fella at Arsenal be a option to come on board?

Whilst I would agree, as a multi billionaire, dropping a few millions to make a point may just appeal to Usmanov. Discuss

I'm getting out of this thread.

Any truth behind the new board member this summer mate?

Can't argue with you Esk and the likelihood is Usmanov won't come here and we'll continue under Moshiri, which is still such an improvement on Kenwright.

But, a person like Usmanov must have hundreds of contacts in business, isn't it possible one of them (or one of them knows someone) who is interested in Usmanov's shares?

Don't want to make this thread into another similar debate, it's just a question I thought of.
