According to those over on RAWK we're in a stronger position financially but "that's due to the TV money and nothing else" lol. They cannot accept that Moshiri has considerable wealth and that he's willing to spend a portion of it to try and get us success. All Evertonians also apparently think that because Moshiri has over £1bn of wealth that means we are going to be able to access all £1bn of it to boost the squad. Quite strange how they're trying to make out that we aren't going to benefit at all from our new investor and that the only thing that has put us in a more favourable position is the TV money.

I'm starting to think they might be a bit worried about us, but of course they can't admit that, especially on a forum like that.

I think some people do think that though, think we're going to go and spend hundreds of millions every transfer window as Moshiri spunks his fortune down the drain.

Some probably do, but I don't think the majority of our fanbase are as naive as some are making out, in thinking that we are going to become the next Man City and buy instant success.

It's clear that Everton are going to benefit from the TV money as well though. It allowed us to purchase Lukaku for £28m, our record fee, and now the money from the TV deal is going to see us with even more money from it next season. But since the TV deal has increased even further, we've got a new investor in who is clearly wanting to spend money to strengthen us.

One clear change since Moshiri arrived is the attitude of Joe Anderson regarding the stadium. A potential new stadium could see us grow as a club even more in the next few years which now seems like a real possibility, as opposed to an unlikely dream whilst it was just Kenwright in charge.

Hopefully a budget to get the players we want, be good not just to have restrictions.

Depending on out's maybe 4-5 key additions of a level of quality.

Check it out. Turning your toaster sideways gives you perfect cheese on toast everytime! Total Life Hack!

I think I've had a life-changing moment here. All hail McBain.

Not really. Unless you like the end result being shot into the wall once its grilled.

no, no, no... Just say ah! Open wiiiide.

Oh! Transfers! It's all about what you buy, not how much you spend. I'd like to see them spend just as much as needed. Nice to know we're not skint any more, tbh.

mad how this £100m figure has stuck, got mentioned in one paper months back and has somehow stuck all this time to the point where it's now mentioned by the majority as if it was fact despite moshiri never having even talked about transfers.

I personally don't think we will spend 100 million plus in this window.

I think koeman will have the opportunity to sign the players he wants no matter the cost of them but I don't think he will overhaul the squad. More of a case of signing players in key areas, his players. Then re evaluate over the season as to what we need.

What would people prefer if Lukaku goes...

4 40mil players
8 20 mill players

Obviously its just a question Im aware not everyone costs a round figure and I am just interested if people think we can even attract a 40m player considering we are not in europe and finished 11th?
3 40 mill players, 1 20 mill player, 2 10 mill players and a partridge in a pear tree.

4 40mil players for me. get them all in the same room together and you may convince them of the clubs ambition.
