forster is howards replacement
mane is Osmans replacement
wanyama can be a quality cover for Barry as he is 36
VVD is a solid CB with potential and with stones/mori linked with moves- he could be a reolacement

Forster and VVD have just signed a new contract, Forster would have an English premium on top of the long term contract premium, we can get better for cheaper.
Mane is decent, but valued at over 30m, LOL
Wanyama is a DM, we dont need a DM, we need a CM

True of any manager at any club. Koeman has been made aware he is part of a project. We are not trying to reach the promised land in one transfer window.

I'm trying to say its an ongoing cycle to reach the place we all want to be at- no need to spend 100 mil a season constantly- quality over quantity

Mane on a good day is world class. On a bad day he is Peter Beagrie. Wanyama is 3 red cards a season. No ta to the latter, the former maybe but not at a stupid price. We could get Perisic from Wolfsburg for half that.

Agreed, we don't want quantity, otherwise it shuts off every avenue of advancement to the young players coming up through the club.

Out of them all, Mane would be the only 1 I would be very interested in, as you say, the rest we could probably find better for a lot less.

Only suggestions as when Koeman joined Southampton, he brought various players to Southampton (Pelle, Mane, Tadic, Clasie)
He may do it again if he has a preference to them- @everton_fanatic on twitter said RK has told us his transfer targets (don't know if a reliable ITK)

I'm only making suggestions as these 4 are the most realistic players to follow him to the club as 2 want to leave SFC and the other 2 are good players he likes

And as we know with the likes of Davies, Dowell, Connolly, Kenny, at the end of season- the future generation is good and deserves a chance, would possibly loan out to championship next season for game time as that's best way of development in a higher class to Under 21's

Except Perisic isnt at Wolfsburg anymore

Has your memory really forgotten Kone already?

*shudders*

to be fair tho, Southampton do have vastly better players than Wigan.

No it has not but I was looking at ex Wigan players, like wise I do not want RK to bring any Saints players in and have us looking at ex saints players.

Moshiri sold his shares to Usmanov, now consider who would have purchased the Arsenal shares of both bearing in mind it would not have got a place on their board or been able to exert any influence. Which is what Usmanov is finding.
Thing is with Usmanov, he could really be tempted to join Moshiri at Everton. Moshiri has came in and is in the process of rebuilding us, and if we have a good (dare I say it, very good) season, there is no reason why Usmanov wouldn't want to join us in my opinion.

He must be getting seriously frustrated at Arsenal, and if he sees potential with Everton there is no reason he can't come in and take us to the very top. I'm probably sounding insane and in dreamland but I honestly think it's a tiny bit more realistic than some think. Plus that itk on the other forum seemed adamant.

Exciting times either way.
