Not waste money on tosh players
not slate the youth team players
Not lose games by enormous scorelines
Not be dreadful at xmas
not go out of domestic cups so easily
get past the uefa cup qualifiers

Thank [Poor language removed] we have a guy in charge, who has the vision to convince a manager who has finished above us for the last 2 years, after losing his best players, to come and be part of his project....

Not some one who just sees a club with an old ground, bottom half of the table and top scorer wants to leave...

All about perception fella...and what slant you out on things.

Can just imagine Moshiri in the meeting today.............. 'Come in Ronald and take a seat'

Look, I was excited about Emery too, but Im just as happy with Koeman, the fans who are writing Koeman, off and think Emery is the savior are naive. Some of these fans probably knew nothing about Emery till a few weeks back. Yes he has won three european cups, which is great and exciting, but he is unproven in the premier league and we can't compete in Europe without a manager coming in and being effective in the premier league. Just to name a few successful managers from continental Europe:

Felix Magath

Remi Garde

Louis van Gaal

Andre Villas-Boas

Juande Ramos

ALL FAILED IN THE EPL

Lay off AVB, yeah?

Feeling a bit flat at the minute with regards Koeman , although I think he is a good manager I just think the roof would have come off GP in our first home game if we had signed the Sevilla duo.

they nearly sacked him in jan, as rumours started 4-0 against arsenal and then they won more points than anyone bar leicester. Southampton were not as good on the eye this year however, solid defensively and hard working was enough to elevate them in the league. It was a bizarre season for nearly all the teams in the league with few finding consistancy. I will be happy to see our defenders not having to find 'angles' but i hope he can enthuse a bit of total football. Conterattacking football wins you titles but...
