I dared to dream with Jose and Unai. If I'd have never thought it possible I'd have been chuffed with Koeman and it's definitely a step up. But it's not going to turn heads and it's not going to change the perception of Everton.

But maybe we're being greedy. Without Farhad we'd probably still have Martinez and be looking forward to a relegation fight.

Come on mate, no one in this world can convince jose to manage everton over utd, or Diego to take everton over a ucl finalist? I love our club as much as anyone on here but please be realistic
 

Just gone and poached a highly regarded manager from a premier league club who have qualified for Europe two seasons in a row whilst we've been 11th. In this managerial search he's shown he can bring Mourinho Emery Monchi and Koeman to the table. What does that say about his standing in the game, his contacts, and also the project he is selling?

This will be a big statement to other premier league teams and teams across Europe who may have been looking at Koemans good work at Southampton.

Don't bite the hand that feeds our club, without farhad Moyes would've been our manager and would've been booed out of goodison at the fight before he even managed a preseason friendly
