Speaking hypothetically here however if we have been at a haggle over terms for the last few days with Emery might it be a little bit of a push by his team to coincidentally leak the Real Madrid rumour to get a better contract out of Everton?

Makes sense to me, not a 'name' enough to be a Madrid manager, and if Zidane wins on Saturday he's going nowhere for now.

What I hope and think is, is that Unai Emery is a demanding manager and a very good tactician by the looks of it. That is exactly what we need at this club. Someone who demands everything from his players and are not afraid to get rid of anyone who doesn`t. Every PL-club should be in a position of building a very good team based on the resources, but very few do. That is something we should take advantage of. It should also be very interesting to see how a player like Ross Barkley could develop under a manager like Emery. Sink or swim.

If you've ever been to Napoli, it makes sense that you wouldn't trade Sevilla for that place.
