Whether or not it is harder to make the top ten of the EPL now than it was even three years ago is indeed a matter of opinion.

I reckon it is....you reckon it isn't.

No worries :)

The point I was making and why I stated my belief about it being more difficult then than now, was that contrary to what the poster I was replying to believes, there is no guarantee that Moyes would have us in that top half of the table.

None whatsoever.
Totally agree with that!

You could be right , he wouldnt be the 1st multi would he :bye:

But give him his due , he's actually threw a name out.

If he's right.....phoar.

If wrong he'll be hounded outlike the others.

Unfair.

Things can/do change in football.

Like us being in talks with Mourinho, then there were reports Man Utd had an agreement in place since midway through the season;

Mourinho has been paid a staggering £4m by United not to take a job elsewhere as the Manchester club worked out how to bring him in and push Van Gaal out.

It is said an agreement was reached between United and Mourinho midway through the season to give the Premier League giants the option to appoint the Portuguese boss.

I still think we would have sounded him out, but if I had said that as a new account, people would be quick to "hound me out".

Give the lad a chance.

Take whatever you read on a forum for what it is. Give him the opportunity to at least build credibility, rather than look to instantly dismiss.
