Would Usmanov had the option to purchase these shares when they came available or would Kronke get first offer?

Kroenke has probably instructed his brokers to acquire any shares that become available. There's little point in Usmanov acquiring other people's shares unless he knows Kroenke is going to sell to him also.

Cheers Esk. Would you hang around if you were in Usmanov's position. Is he just treading water there now ?

'Rob Harris ‏@RobHarris
Stan Kroenke has bought 23 more shares in Arsenal for £368,000. He owns 67.05% of Arsenal.'
Interesting in that this, at least in a small way, further increased Kroenke's stranglehold over Arsenal.
Will he still hang around.. Usmanov that is.

If Rob Harris is right this values Aresenal shares at £16k each. The following was previously reported by Arsenal. 'Alisher Usmanov has bought the 50% share of Red & White Holdings Ltd owned by business partner Ardavan Farhad Moshiri, thought to be worth around £200 million. It means the Uzbek-born billionaire is now the outright owner of the 18,695 shares that make up Red & White’s 30.04% stake in Arsenal.'
If the £200 million figure is accurate this values the shares at £21k each. That would be a large premium thats hard to explain but it does say 'thought to be around £200 million'. Hmmm interesting.

If one of my life ambitions was to own Arsenal and I had sufficient cash not to worry about having £400 million tied up in a minority stake then yes, would definitely hold (particularly after doubling my stake 3 months ago).

I'm sure your correct but do you really believe usmanov has dreamt of owning Arsenal outright for 50 years.
I have no idea personally but wouldn't be surprised if he only realised they existed once the premier league began or certianly once the wenger years started up.

I hope that when we finally appoint our new manager that we hear from Moshiri on the future plans for the Stadium and player recruitment.........

Just think if this Guy had come to us, what he could have done with Everton, unbelievable.
