I think that the firing of Martinez before the last game of the season was symbolic of the changing of the guard in terms of ownership.
No chance Kenwright would have took that decision.
You was @lordyefc 100%.
Times are a changing Damo and we can only hope it's for the best. There's a lot of deadwood needing clearing out and progressive strategy implementing that will service us well for immediate, mid and long term future in a very competitive market place. It's a shame Kenwright didn't fire himself whilst he was at it. 15 years. Not a penny into the club.
I've told you already. I was not that poster. I shall not tell you again. Back on ignore you go.

Let's see how it turns out after one year of ownership before we draw too many conclusions. Everything points to good money being available this summer and while it will help it's no guarantee. Look at Newcastle and Liverpool.
The man spending it will be reflective of the new ownership.
Back on ignore you go.
You were the poster @lordyefc.15 years. Not a penny in.
Not specifically into player acqusitions. But in basic infrastructure of the club.
Finch Farm was entirely self financed by EFC.
Kenwright and company basically zombified the club. 'Plucky little Everton'
At least now the club can actually grow due to the capital injection by Moshiri. In infrastructure terms.

It always amazes me when I see Spurs so high up and more to the point worth far more than us. They are in London sure but so are West Ham.Interesting valuations from KPMG:

I'm thinking the same thing. In terms of being ITK, I am a million light years from occupying territory commanded by the likes of @The Esk (at Everton), @Moomin (Stoke) and @Bungle (various religious and gay chat sites).I think in the next few days it will be clear to see that things have changed dramatically at Everton. The footballing world will sit with their collective mouths open. Everton will be on the way back.

But I'm paying not inconsiderable heed to Meacock on this one...I've got a good feeling in my bone(s).
