Just three months ago our joke of an ex-manager said this:

"I don't think it's a decision that affects the long-term planning," he said. "Aiden needed to play as the next four months are vital in order to get a lot of playing time.

"He has been working really well and his body is ready to play and perform and be really effective. If everything works well and he gets the opportunity to represent Ireland in the Euros, then it's a very important period in his career. And then I would expect him to come back in pre-season and see if he can get an important role in our team."

he would be a bit of a sh*t manager if he said "you can do everything right but you're never getting a chance here again"
 

Apparently not willing to take a paycut, wants us to supplement his wages for a team in the Championship or Celtic.

See, this is what happens when you sign traitors.
Let's leave the nationalistic element out please, it's of no relevance to Everton.

Now, in what world can he justify asking for this? Mind boggles.
