He will stay for two/three years then will find a new club again.

So the same as 99% of football then.

I don't know why people make too much of how long managers stay at club....the clubs that win stuff are the ones that change more often.

Cos Sir Alex was the ideal manager out there. A long term guy.

Sure. I agree with what you said but Jose had a history not sticking around with a club for too long.

Be interesting to see if there's any fume from the United faithful when he inevitably drops Rashford next season and never gives him a sniff again during the rest of his managerial reign
Have a feeling things will no go well at OT, think he is going to ruffle a few feathers.

One benefit of this is that it's another top manager with a big club between Klopp and his apparently inevitable title charge next season. With the RS out of Europe it could be two seasons in a row of scrapping around for a domestic cup. I wonder if that's what the American overlords imagined when they poured their millions into Liverpool and then brought in Klopp.

The prem is a better place with Mourinho in it. Always good to see him back.

Oh he'll swing in like a tornado, destroy everything, win some cups and then head out to destroy somewhere else

It's what he does

If we'd had 20 years of sustained success and were starting to dwindle, I'd bring him in quick as a heartbeart

Man United can afford to have him scorch some Earth for a couple of years before heading off somewhere else. They can always spend to redress the balance

Clubs with less funds, who are forced to rely more on developing from within, are less well placed to deal with the Jose Tornado

LVG treated really badly by the press, I think he has been really dignified, Utd have behaved poorly too. I think they're in for a shock with Mourinho. He won't have any interference from Bobby 'Cry Baby' Charlton and old red nose. He will cause loads of trouble and they'll be really boring. The Rashford kid may as well go now cause he won't get a sniff next season. I never wanted him at Goodison, he's a horrible ego who can't win or lose with dignity. He won't last long there.

That's because he's won the medals and didn't have to pander to them like most in the Premier League, our ex-manager being a prime example.

I dont mind it makes double fumage for the RS when Jose wins at the pit and does it with United

SSN were reporting "Man Utd statement at one o'clock" lunchtime today? It's now 5 o'clock and still no Man Utd statement, something tells me negotiations to get rid of LVG aren't going quite as smoothly as they hoped!

They had to wait till the NY Stock Exchange opened, which was 1.00 GMT.

Until they announce it there, they cant announce anything here.

Have United actually said LVG has been sacked?
