I honestly think Martinez held cake training days and had the players baking cakes and drinking "fanta" all morning.

In defense of Martinez, he did primarily work with Steve Tashjian who decided to leave and was irreplaceable. I remember at Wigan his teams would often go the distance and them some, most of their goals were in the last 25 or so minutes.

But anyway, Unai Emery would be my personal choice going forward. I'm not sure if he'd be willing to join though, I think that Sevilla are in a much better shape right now!
