Well Usmanov better hurry up, he strikes me as a man that doesnt have a lot of time left, yano?
With all due respect to everybody, Moshiri circulates in such a rarefied atmosphere that no fan or fan base will get anywhere near himself, his friends or acquaintances.
Im minded that he has also come to terms with the fact that Kenwright is a one trick pony, busted flush, call him what you want and that once his and Jon Woods remaining shares are hoovered up by Moshiri and co that those two will swiftly be consigned back to the boys pen.
I seriously doubt that less than two dozen people are party to his plans and this figure will include the captains of industry he and his advisors he is currently in contact with.
Its healthy and good fun to speculate but thats probably all it is.
Its easy to imagine Usmanov getting so dismayed by Kroenkes reluctance to open his house to him that he sells up and joins Moshiri.
I classify that scenario as logical speculation.
But to suggest the ordinary fans like ourselves are party to Moshiri and his advisors is also probably fanciful speculation also.

Bonzo
I'm more than happy with having Moshiri on board.......I do however believe that he will bring others to invest.......
Embrace our new Russian overlord Damo.
Maybe Moshiri wants to do this alone and not have his pal at his side. We should be happy we have Moshiri but no we still get ourselves wrapped up in Usmanov.
We are happy with him but the meltdown on rawk if Usmanov came here would be a sight to behold.
I don't buy the Usmanov talk. Moshiri wanting his own project makes sense. He is portrayed unfairly as being joined at the hip with Usmanov, he was referred to as his bag carrier here at one point.
You can't be as successful as Moshiri without proven ability to exercise independent judgement and initiative. I like Moshiri already, he has retained a common touch and if Usmanov came in, it would seem unreal, as if we had been duped somewhat, strange as that seems given he could obviously propel us into a whole new orbit.
I do think Moshiri will need to bring in additional investment over time, but let's give him time to get on with it in his own way, and not simply be Usmanov's shadow.
