Voted no, didnt read.
That is not actually all that happened. If you forensically look at where they spent their money. I spat my coffee out reading Lerner's claim of spending money on 'infrastructure'
Its rubbish. The proof is in their relegation.
We need to play to our strengths and improve our revenue making (our weakness).
Contrary to Villa.
Erm, you can make loads of cash and get relegated, just like you can spend loads of cash and get relegated. Maybe you mean something different?

The difference now is real genuine outside - working capital coming into the club.
Rather than - arguably somer Lener-esque ownership from Kenwright Woods and Earl. Who've put ZERO pounds into the club in 15 years.
They could be argued as being 'unable to make the time or effort'.
That must stop too.
You just said you hadn't read it.
We can be potless and have no cash to buy decent players to win pots.
Ergo.
Mate
I didn't read #1, but I read #17 (and #25) and feel worse off for it

Not one single outside penny has been put into Everton in 15 years from the owners. Until this year.
Then there is always the option to go look at another thread mate.
Legitimate points being made here.![]()
Right, but Lerner dumped loads of his cash into Villa (£300m?), which makes your comparison look rather silly.
No. Lerner LOANED much of the money then recouped management fees plus interest on it per year.
Even then the loans were badly spent. That did nothing to improve revenues and pay down debt or at least cover increased costs. That is the point.
