But ... footy needs 'The School of Science' which is most important!who needs schools anyway. Football is more important.
You shouldn't be too sure about that. I am a cow.
They won't be - as the title suggests.

Haha, thought that to be honest. They're not a park though, and you'd have to be mental to call it part of the greenbelt.
I think it would be quite feasible to obtain the site.
Thanks mate, it's interesting however not one of the sites currently offered in that document are big enough to hold a stadium.
Goodison is 8 acres (from memory), conventional thoughts are that considerably more space is requires - Emirates is a 17 acre site for example.
Interesting times ahead.

Council owned, like. I'm not sure how the residents'd take to it though. The benefits of the stadium being there (Along with 'Project Jennifer' being a few hundred yards away) would far outweigh the pitfalls of losing a few football pitches on a playing field - which I'm sure we could accommodate for/ replace.
Park and ride would've been the planAm I the only one who thinks (as stunning as the plans looked, and as iconic as the stadium would have been) that the Kings Dock could had been a logistical nightmare?
The Echo arena holds about 20% of the number of people that KD would have had at capacity.
That part of the road network pretty much grinds to a halt when a concert kicks out (usually around 11pm, when there's not a whole lot of other traffic on the roads). Can you imagine 5x as many people flooding out at 5pm on a busy shopping Saturday?!
