Kevin Mirallas

For me it was always clear why he wasn't getting so much game time and was completely understandable as the ball does not stick up front with him and he is not much of a link player. Poor touches, running down blind alleys....he was guilty of this many times and also for being invisible in a lot of games. That would be slightly acceptable from an attacking player who still always carried a threat and in many teams he would be played and indulged a lot more, but we have had in Barkley and Lukaku two other players in the attack with similar flaws and it's no surprise that we didn't go with all three very often and that Mirallas was the one to miss out most.

If he is off this summer he will be remembered well and gave us some memorable moments.

Amazing what happens when one of your fastest players, who also happens to be one of your best finishers, is given the chance to play in his preferred position. It's as if the manager has decided to show confidence in the player's abilities rather than let him rot on the bench for months on end.

10 starts this season, for arguably our most talented attacking player. Utterly criminal.

He had the complete game today, fantastic in attack and defence, he put in a proper shift.

Watched the game

Didn't watch the game.

It's all quite simple lads.

Showed today how bad his relationship with Martinez really was, barely ran and looked uninterested throughout the last 2 seasons and the second RM is out the door he is running around like a mad man tracking the FB all the way back to our own byline :D

Hopefully whoever takes charge puts some trust in him, still a player in there just needs a manager to have faith in him

he's noted for his individual skills but he played for the team today, seemed relaxed, he is experienced now and it would be good if he stays. so many times he passed it quickly and so many times he closed people down.

That few? Wow.

He scores goals, he makes things happen and works hard for the team. I think if Martinez had put whatever agenda he had to one side and played Mirallas then we'd probably be sat with around 9 more points now, and he might have even managed to keep his job.

before penaltgate he was carrying the team, to say he has done nothing the last 2 seasons simply isn't true, I'm onboard with your views on his relationship with martinez, i doubt he was alone
