We do have some real quality players but at the moment their confidence on the pitch is low, we look hesitant, making mistakes, trying to be too precise. The players want 3 and 4 touches on the ball instead of being instictive, this is making us look slow and ineffective.
Pellegrini - the City players seemed to like him and he encouraged the players to try and express themselves. He may have shown too much loyalty to some though, selecting them despite out of form.
De Boer, Stam, Bergkamp - would also be a good option think. Ok they've never managed in the prem but I'm sure their experience will be enough to prepare them.
Whoever takes over it will be a big challenge, but I do believe with a few additions to the squad with a new Manager and first team coaching staff we have the ability to turn things around quickly.
