According to Van Gaal in the post match interview that is exactly what we did all game especially the 2nd half, needs to have a look at his own players - Herrera should have seen red!

I've felt numb to Everton for at least 6 weeks. 15 minutes in the second half where we actually tried - it dawned on me what an opportunity we had - to be in the ascendancy in the semi final, one goal from a final against Watford or Crystal Palace. That's shocking really. I wasn't excited or nervous before or during the game, only for the last 15/20 minutes. I'm a lifelong Evertonian and this is how I feel. Martinez needs to go now.
