Win at the pit and I'm pretty sure we'll have the 3rd or 4th best away form in the league.

I'm not using the away form as a means of defending him... How many times do I have to say "IT'S NOT BEEN GOOD ENOUGH"

But you carry on believing that I'm defending his results, rather than just saying he made a fairly accurate comment.
except the comment is not accurate, because we are not even in a europa league form place.

Yeah he made a completely accurate statement about our away form being CL form IF you don't actually look at what it is right now when he made the statement but instead include 3 points from the trip to Anfield onto it - a game we haven't played yet at and at a ground we haven't won at this century, yeah mate he was accurate LOL

@The Esk or @Woolly Blue

is it possible to see how the poll has changed over time?

Our away form was better in his first season, this season we can equal or beat it depending on the remaining games. Potentially it could be something to look back on as a successful part of our season, but there is little else to celebrate (so far).

His comment is a bit fanciful, but his inability to review the bigger picture is not limited to home v away - see defending, keeping clean sheets, making pragmatic decisions to hold onto results..... we could go on forever arguing about semantics, fake league tables, this elusive 'playing football the right way' that we've all witnessed but seldom seen.

We all know he talks utter nonsense, but there is little if anything that will save him now. Lets get behind the team this week, god knows they need us to. There's a goofy German that needs knocked off his perch ;)

But you are using it to defend him? lol

Also we are currently 8th in the away form league table of 2016, L L D D D in case you were wondering.

It's 'fairly accurate' in as far as it's not really accurate at all, but isn't so outrageous as to be patently ridiculous.

Quite an important caveat to the 'only 3 points off having the 4th best away record' point, is that we're also only 2 points off having the 11th best away record. I think this is the point you're missing. People are unhappy that once again he is trying to pull the wool over our eyes, feeding us the positives without adding in the context. Lose at the tin mine and Leicester and there's a very good chance our away record will end up looking remarkably similar to our overall record.

I've said before but I don't feel our away form is as good as bobby would like you to believe

We've only won 5 away games.

We are effectively calling draws away to Watford, Palace, Norwich, Bournemouth and Swansea good results.

Come on. Nil Satis anyone

100% mate, we have won one more game away then we have at home. Its not as great as some people make out.

Not our fault if we've played an away game less than everybody else. Even if we do balls it up at the pit, there will still only be 3 points between us and the top 4 in the AWAY form table.

I really can't understand how people are arguing about this........ I fully expect us to get at least one more away win this season, possibly 2.

There would be 5 mate. RS would go 6 above us and Arsenal would be 5 above us
