Regardless of what you think about him personally, i would have him here in a shot, he is a natural winner and tbh 99% of the things he has done, if he did them for us we'd love him for it. Same goes for people like Suarez - have him here in a heartbeat

Some of our fans are scared senseless of us actually winning things and not being seen as the "gentleman's" club.

Imagine not wanting one of the best managers ever just because he brings a bit of fanfair

its the same argument as the moyes one, there is more than one manager out there.

I would hope part of Moshiri's plan would include a long term manager in that, who can control the football side of things totally. Who, i can only throw random names at you, but potentially i would like to think that the everton job could be a massively rewarding job for the right manager, and mourhino doesn't fit that criteria.

I've been told the decision has been made.

Our next manager is Portuguese.

some things are more important to me than the 'win at all costs' ethos he brings.

I bet that Moshiri has no problem with ambitious managers who are accustomed to winning and wanting to win.
The outgoing board members who have,nt won a sausage in 20 yrs would be petrified of a manager coming in who will push them to beyond fluking a domestic cup.
