Best player you've never seen

Jamo Martinez

Player Valuation: £70m
Players you get the impression must have been the dog's although you've never (or hardly ever) seen them play.

Di Stefano. Apart from some grainy footage I can only go off testimony from old timers. Amazing stats (which obviously don't tell the whole story).
Apparently way ahead of his time and more complete than other legends like Pele, Maradona and Cruyff. I've been told he could do whatever they did plus what the likes of Beckenbaur or Xavi Hernandez did.

Johnny Haynes. Again, going off what I've read and been told. Sounds like an earlier version of Peter Beardsley.

Who are the players who stimulate your imagination?

I've steered clear of Everton because I don't like them very much at the moment.

Kendall Harvey and Ball together. Just before my time and I've always wanted to go back in time and watch them do their thing.

Saw them play separately as a youngster but The Holy Trinity is the one that got away.

Also Alex Young to see if he really was as good as my old man tells me. Still his hero all these years later.

Why did I visualise you being at your prime watching them?

I will stab your eyes out and rip your heart from your chest you tax dodging reprobate!!!!

In the PL, Suarez.

I know he was theirs, but what a player.

Went to the derby just before he arrived and then not til after he left.

Utter tit, but he is boss.

He never saw him mate ;)

I haven't been to a derby since Torres was playing for the rs but I've seen Suarez play loads of times.
I didn't mean in the flesh. I meant players before your time or you just haven't got to see on telly for whatever reason.

Gary Lineker.

The last world class striker to play for us, would have been a joy to see after winning the league that year.
