My counsel to Moshiri is to not allow wastage of money.
lol lol lol
I am sure the billionaire Moshiri will be most grateful for your counsel in matters fiduciary.
He could do worse than take you on as his vizier, Damon

I wasn't at the match due to work commitments but I chose to watch other matches for the first half, and couldn't be arsed with most of the palace game too. We are true S on a stick to watch
how is martinez a potentially very good manager.
he's had nearly ten years to prove he's a 'good manager' and hasn't.
That's like saying a 30 year old striker still has potential, after years of being average.
Last two seasons
2014/15 : 11th place, 47 points, 13 points behind 7th
2015/16 : Currently 11th place, 41 points, 10 points behind 7th with 5 games to go.
I mention how many points behind 7th, because 7th is the lowest place you can be in to have a chance of qualifying for Europe based on your league position. If I was in charge, that wouldn't fill me with confidence that Martinez is the man to push on for Champions League qualification after an injection of cash. If he was within touching distance of 7th on points, it'd be a different story.
The brutal reality is that after one very good season, he's not shown anything to suggest that he's the man to break the glass ceiling. As fans, our expectations are probably too high and we think we should be pushing for Champions League with this squad, but more pragmatic minds will be looking how far off 7th we are, scratching their heads a bit and preparing for a change.
Say United win the Cup and finish 5th.
And the RS finish 7th but win the EL.
They would then go to the CL, leaving only two English teams in the EL next season.......United and whoever finishes 6th.
Would the team finishing 8th then be given the third EL English berth, Wooly?
You called me Wooly so I refuse to answer on the basis that Woolly has two l's.
It was the most soul destroying game I have witnessed since I sat with 13,000 other shivering diehards to watch a scoreless draw with Cov circa 1982

Wow - what a grim statement to make - at the end of the day were still Everton - players / managers mean nothing but lose the will to watch / support and the end is near.I wasn't at the match due to work commitments but I chose to watch other matches for the first half, and couldn't be arsed with most of the palace game too. Pretty sure FA cup runner ups no longer get European qualification no matter what. Also in answer to @Khalekan's question I'm pretty sure 8th wouldn't get a EL slotThink it goes to FA Cup Runner-Up?
