How many times has he been sent off for us? he knows what he is doing, and is perfectly capable of controlling himself especially after getting a yellow, he must have made around 40 appearances for us now, the idea that he is lucky not have been sent off in every game is beyond ludicrous

The lad isnt perfect, he plays with his heart on his sleeve, along with a knuckle duster!

Theres always a chance he will just lose it and start 1 bombing people, I think thats why I like him so much.

Disappointed with him today, thought it was the perfect game for him to put down a marker for a start in the games ahead this week, just seemed to saunter around with a NEA attitude.

I don't get this at all, covered loads of ground, threw himself into tackles, if McCarthy had played today people would buzz off that performance, going on endlessly about the 'unseen' work, it was a solid display, he was fine, a NEA attitude???? I genuinely despair of our own fans, we don't deserve good footballers

Thought he was average today personally mate, I mean average from what I know he can do, he didnt do much wrong, but sadly didnt do a lot that stood out, it was yet another overall terrible team performance with few stand out players.

Think everybodys mind is just on the Semi, avoiding bookings and injury seems a good plan to me.

Not trying to excuse his performance tho, which was to be kind quite average IMO Friend.

Kinell mate, I rate the lad, but he didn't play well today, that's an assessment quite a lot of blues will have made today, I'd even say the vast majority, despair for our fans, behave.

He's not going to play well every game, I saw today as a great chance for himself, Gerry and Kev to stake a claim and thought none of them grasped in the least.

You seem to have reacted to my post as if I want rid of him. We'll disagree on his performance today, that's fair enough, I can also say McCarthy's been less than impressive this season, whatever that reference was about.

like Goat said he was average, but he was fine, thats where the McCarthy reference comes from, if it was regular starter people would be saying that was okay, nothing more than that, but it was solid, you can't just step into the team and expect a world class display, it doesn't work like that.

Sometimes you can't set the world alight, but you still put your yards in, recycle the ball and throw a tackle in, he did all that, no disrespect Tipp, but the NEA attitude bit was the part that bemused me, because I don't get that one little bit from todays display

The NEA bit came from a couple of occasions first half I felt he left saints players make runs beyond him off the ball that he's normally far better at preventing, we'll definitely just have to agree to disagree on his performance today, he'll make up for it Wednesday when he snaps Allen after 5 minutes, just a shame Horrenderson got injured before Besic got him.

We expect more from besic as he's obviously got the talent, jimmy is an honest workhorse but technically is miles behind mo

If Coleman is injured I think Besic should fill in at right back. Seems a better option to me than Stones or one of the kids.

Think Besic really knows whats up. Always tries to get himself about, definitely wants to be playing every week. If he can stay fit and rack performances up, he will improve a great deal. He has got something about him has Besic!
