I don't doubt it. But I do value the image of our club, and terminating his contract before the semi isn't the decent thing to do.

Think the problem for Martinez now is that the unrest amongst fans is actually turning into hate towards him.

...and he does NOTHING to appease this either. Congrats to the two kids for getting a toe in today, brilliant, yet can't help feel they're a MASSIVE deflection exercise for RM's benefit, on two fronts TBH - if the result goes against/draw '..well, we played some kids, so that's good...' says he...

It also deflects from the fact that it now seems that everyone in the squad is ahead of NIASSE including kids - 13 million beans for a bench-gnome that he won't even blood in a game he hints he struggled at getting a squad together for. WOW.

The manager is now totally, utterly out of his depth. I desperately want something positive result wise in the next week or so but - honestly - I just can't see it, I've tried but I can't...

And too many times I've said, like many, 'oh he seems a nice man', all that crap & pizzle...but I'm struggling with that now too because I'm starting to feel that he's little more than an arrogant, egotistical boob who considers himself unaccountable & beyond reproach for his own proven and recorded misgivings that just repeat and repeat and repeat...he's a barely average manager with a below average back-team, should we really expect anything else?

He's playing with his career now, not here, but elsewhere...because he's starting to be found out away from 'us' too.
