Just got back from playing music in a pub, bar owner says there's a guy in who's really good at blues harmonica and if he can play a tune, I oblige and give him the mic. He says 'Well done to Liverpool for getting through to the semi final of the European Cup' (not even league), and plays the Fields of Bloody Athenry on his gob iron! Cue my worst nightmare and half the pub going wild. He stops and I have to follow it up with a bit of Bruce Springsteen...

Mate, I'd have interjected and put him straight on the fact it was the Europa League, then loudly proclaimed "FORZA EPEPTOH" before breaking into "Ste Gerrard Gerrard, He fell on his [bad word here] arse, And passed it to Demba Ba, Ste Gerrard Gerrard".

Can't really take too much away from that result, dramatic comeback, tough opposition. Would've been ecstatic had that been us. I think basically liverpool and everton have turned into two good cup teams. Which is a long way off from being two good teams.
 
Papers begrudgingly having to do a few stories on Leicester today. Don't worry lads it will be appropriate for you to start their semi final build up at 6.00 PM Sunday.
