Not a bad point playing most of the 2nd half with 10 men. If anything we played better after the red card, defended well goalie included.

Must say though our league games for me are very much 'nothing to play for so not really that bothered either way'. Shame
Said it earlier we didn't do that with a two goal advantage and 15 minutes left against a team who are 5th but do it against a team who have won once in 14 games.

And Martinez calls that a good result!

It wasn't a good point, it was a terrible one, considering the talent in that team we should have still beaten these tonight, they couldn't score past us when we let them have the blue for 20 minutes.

Martinez's comments.....

Everton manager Roberto Martinez: "It was a more than decent result.

"It's always difficult to cope with direct play. When you do that with 10 men, it is incredibly positive.

"The resilience and hard work, to be able to be so solid, was great. We had as many chances. Joel Robles had to be at his best but it was a level game. To play like that with 10 men, it was incredibly satisfying."

He could walk in on me nailing his wife and put a spin on it

Martinez, 2013: "I'll get you into the Champions League."

Martinez tonight, talking about a dismal 0-0 draw against a horror show Palace team: "It was a more than decent result."

Isn't it such a shame we do that 30 games too late eh?

Mate totally fed up at the moment.
I think what he's done for the club football wise at times has been fantastic we've literally ripped teams apart without getting results.
Personally think he's took too much away from the defensive side as per comment there.
Don't know where I am in terms of the way to go at the moment half of me says he's the right man where almost there.
But the other half goes back to my original comment, when we need to defend we can and that's down to the manager to find the balance which again he hasn't .
Rather him than me
