Hm?And then aliens landed and took his phone off him.
Barkley made one mistake in the opening game of the season, got relegated to the reserves, and then played again around Christmas, off the bench once or twice, then on loan at Wednesday or something.
Moyes had the time to play him, he just didn't.
Martinez has given reasonable prospects game time though, do you think Browning would've even played a minute at right back under Moyes? Probably as a left winger at some point for 10 minutes, and Stones would have about 3 starts, all at right back, and we'd say he's crap. Moyes' policy was safety first, remember?
Do people really want us to get beat tomorrow?
I don't know wether its a joke or not
I preferred the moyes approach of protecting young players to the way Martinez handled the stones situation and left him on the pitch draining his confidence when he was clearly out of form
Who has he given time to.
Galloway was played out of necessity and dropped once Oviedo and Baines came back
Alcatraz and Distin were favoured over stones who played so much last season because Distin had lost it and Bobby hadn't signed cover. If Distin had still been doing it Stones would have been on the bench
Lukaku cost 28m was hardly not going to start
If you think Barkley wouldn't have played under any manager you're crazy
Del was loaned/bought to play
No one else has had any significant game time
Galloway did just happen out of necessity, but he remained in the team when Baines was fit again, for a few games, which is more you could expect from a young player really.I preferred the moyes approach of protecting young players to the way Martinez handled the stones situation and left him on the pitch draining his confidence when he was clearly out of form

And the Spaniard had a simple message about the banner urging him to quit: “If someone put a positive banner out that wouldn’t take time out of my thinking. You cannot lose time thinking of anything but how we go forward.
"Maybe if it was my first season working as a manager I might have reacted in a different way, but not now.
“I understand if we don’t get wins the fans are not going to be happy. That’s very straightforward. (The abuse) that’s part of my job... the passion that they share is what drives us to be better and achieve perfection if anything."
After just three wins in the 13 league games since the end of December there is a restlessness around Goodison, but Martinez retains the full support of chairman Bill Kenwright.
And the Spaniard said: “Obviously it is my job to set standards and to have a professional relationship with players in the best interests of the football club.
“Dressing rooms work like that.
"The manager needs to make the decisions, and the players need to enjoy their job and enjoy their talent and do the things that the team needs every individual to do in order to win.”
But he insisted he has no issues with Everton's senior players.
Martinez added: “No, no. It just isn’t the case that the relationship between the manager and players is a problem. That has never been an issue.
“Remember that we are not talking about a bad team here, or a team that doesn’t perform. We are talking about a team that performs really well away from home, yet doesn’t get the results at home.
“That doesn’t suggest the relationship between the manager and the players is wrong.
"We are talking about a very specific area – we don’t get results at home. We get them away from home.”
"It was just a young boy that shouted at me, so I invited him to tell me, without shouting, and we had a conversation, nothing else," said Martinez. "There was another fan there and we were talking.
"It is the time to support the team. It is not the time to assess the frustration or the feelings we have now. No one is happy with what we have now in the League or where we are in the League.
"You have to trust the players that the season is going to end up in a way where we can assess it. We need to be together."
