Watch his body language and the avoidance to answer questions like 'Roberto, who do you blame for this...?'

RM: 'well, its not about blame blah blah blah'

He knows the game is up and has probably been told so.

Away form is average. Last 10 years this season is either slightly up or down over that time. There is a big improvement over last season mind but it couldn't get any worse really.

Did someone not post on here that there are seven clubs in the EPL which have better away records than us this season?

I imagine any prospective manager must be looking at us at thinking they only need to get us to 7th and a half decent cup run to be seen as doing a 'great' job. It is critical that Moshiri and/or his representatives, should they indeed be looking at possible replacements, take the opportunity to completely re-state and re-define the expectations that go with the job of Everton manager. The less that Bill has to do with such an appointment, the better.

Away form has been respectable. Put it this way, if it had been 'fortress Goodison' this season, we'd be flying. However it hasn't been, and the home form has been abysmal, but to try and make out the away form hasn't been respectable is ludicrous.

I didn't make out its been its been anything but respectable, but to say its consistently better is a bit of a stretch.

The away form hasn't been terrible by any means, the fact we have only lost 2 away is nothing to be laughed at. We have won 5 and drew 8. How many of them draws have been attained by winning positions? The away form could have been better if we didn't draw so many games from winning positions.

The way form is respectable. To say its anything more then that is a bit of a step beyond.

Imagine the reaction if Moyes was beating his chest about away draws, while the team sat 14th in April. Everton have won about as many games on the road as Bournemouth, and that's with Eddie Howe balancing league and A Level commitments.

Martinez is just the managerial equivalent of Kenwright. He'll say absolutely anything if it'll buy him even another five minutes without further scrutiny, and hope that maybe the world will end before he's finally found out.

This is so true. Or it would be if we genuinely had ambitions of becoming a big club once again. Unfortunately a sizeable part of our fanbase believes that finishing 7th and being knocked out of the cup IS a great achievement for a club like Everton.
