Anyone else got a "started from the bottom now we're here" sob story to kick him whilst he's down?

Don't call people bellends
We've got ourselves to blame as much as the lad, here, methinks.

I know I don't get in touch with Sergei as often as perhaps I should.

I know he's on the bones of his arse, I've seen it for meself and it's not pleasant. And tbh, WTF do I care if he's got a ticket & I don't? What should anyone care ffs? Does he suddenly become unworthy of a ticket because of A/ who he is.? B/ Where he's from? And C/ because of his current plight?

I know how the dole case people so all's they've got time for is to look for a job - they leave people to their own devices but if they deem Sergei (Or whoever) hasn't done enough to find work then they stop his dole....Then he well & truly jiggered, isn't he?

And the lad must be worried sick about his young family back in Russia; only able to communicate via telephone or internet...Ever thought that they're the reasons he doesn't come on here that often?

As for the suggestions he 'report more often' on here - To who, exactly? We're not the staasi ffs. The lad's posted a video of himself stewarding at Aintree...He's having a go ffs.

If I give him money then IDGAF if he spends it on ale...The lad's got enough to deal with so I couldn't blame him if he wanted to blot a few hours out. If he wanted to use it to go the game, so what? Gives him the opportunity to get out, socialise & network doesn't it?

Let him enjoy the little he has unhindered & unquestioned, eh?

That's all.

@Russian Evertonian I'll be in touch soon, mate. Congrats on your good news - hopefully that'll shut a few of the bellends up. ;)

Bloo*y yes.

Good Morning Sergei,

With reference to our meeting on Thursday 7th April 2016, we are pleased to confirm that you were successful in your interview and we would like to offer you the position of Parcel Dispatch Operative starting on Monday 18th April 2016 at 9:00am.

@roydo can fill you in about what to expect mate re your new job.

Well in mate, hopefully it's the first step to getting your family over and getting rid of all those damn spiders !

@Russian Evertonian

Not sure if it's still available (Doubt it) but DWP used to give a grant if the job you've got is expected to last more than 11 weeks. Worth asking about when you tell them you've got a start, mate.

If they don't, find out what help is available for you (if any) ;)

No need for that really is there mate. I think people were well within their rights to question it and get it out in the open rather than there become some sort of growing resentment towards Sergei from people that weren't in possession of the facts.

I hope the massive sofa he got falls on your head.

Please let us ref mate.

Yes everyone is entitled to question things with out being referred to as a bellend.

Let's concentrate on the news that @Russian Evertonian has found a job. Well done.
