Think he's retreated into his shell a lot over the last year. The Chelsea game at goodison where we lost 6-3 seemed to throw him (and everyone else) and since then we've never really attacked the same way.

If Martinez loses his job that Chelsea game along with Tottenham away in 2014, Kyiv away in the Europa and that Bournemouth game this season will be the moments for me that it all went wrong
Don't think that 4-0 at Anfield helped him and his tactics/confidence

It's clear as day that first season was a fluke. I agree completely with a comment in the echo podcast from a week or so ago in that if you ask martinez about his first season he probably wouldn't be happy with how we played as it was a team in transition and not like we play now.

For me that's the crux of the problem, his one minded approach and stubbornness means he'll never change, add his poor defensive set up and awful game management he should be nowhere near goodison park. Praying he wins the cup and is hooked, although I honestly think we'll be knocked out as he simply hasn't got a plan B/looks to be losing the dressing room.

And as I said that's fine to hold that opinion. The problem comes when people slate others for said opinions, whatever they may be.

Anyway, mutual respect is not the topic

No, I understand the topic at hand, and the notion of signing an online petition is disgusting to me. I mean honestly.

And I'm sorry Groucho, but we laugh our arses off at kopites and geordies doing the same thing. I will do the same at Evertonians.

Fluke's a bit of a harsh way to describe it. He defiantly got lucky with a lot of what he inherited though and the way transfer deadline day 2013 worked itself out

In actual fact Martinez deserves a lot of credit for not touching our defense that season and let them do what they knew how to do.

It was so out of character with our league performances before and after do you think there was perhaps a sniff of player rebellion about it?
Seriously? If any player at this club was petulant enough to use any game as a way of making a point then they need to go not the manager. But I strongly suspect this was a group of players aware of the significance of winning something. That would make a little more sense.

So how would you make your opinion known to the club?

Do you really think it doesn't happen?

On the current situation it's a point of view difference of opinion ;)

To start with, they read these forums.

Booing at the game is acceptable to me, I don't agree with it but you pay your money and you're entitled to your say, and seeing as I live so far away I'd be mental to criticize any match day going fan.

I'm pretty sure the Board and Bobby are getting the hint.

Also, results speak for themselves, and do more talking than any of us will. This new board won't accept these results.

Didn't McAleny supposedly visit this once a while ago?

Also Duffy's dad was here.

Anyway spot on I'd say.

It's still mainly that defence. And I know the theory is that they are now bombing forward without thinking but doesn't the number of assists both full backs got under Moyes suggest they haven't changed too much. Distin was on his last legs had to be replaced. And Baines and Coleman were dipping in form and maybe unsettled for few years.
There may be something wrong with our defensive organisation but we were going to need to rebuild and reinforce our squad defensively. Moyes had taken his eye off the ball massively in that respect.

He'd just signed stones. Hardly eye off the ball

1600 Evertonians have signed it so far.

Whether you like it or not, it's a way to show the dissatisfaction with the current manager in a tangible way

It's a bit 21st Century for me like, but 'disgusting' nah.
