Im pretty appalled by Baines comments and also jags interview after the game.

For me it shows a weak mentality. What we need is a true captain to emerge or brought in with some fire.

I don't see why Baines should be faulted for saying sommat that a blind man can see when we are playing these days.

It doesn't matter what we think anymore whether we are for or against the manager. The players have spoken and it's about how it affects them. This is something the board will be keeping an eye on.

Of course there is unrest. If you were a defender particularly you would be embarrassed by the goals conceded this season. Martinez has abandoned the defence since he became manager. In 3 seasons he has signed 2 senior defenders Alcarez( Says it all) and Mori. Stones has come through as a result of Distin fallout and he bought Galloway and Holgate for youth teams. No RB cover signed.

I think it's just a case that the players have lost faith in Martinez. It's probably affecting them subconsciously rather than them deliberately taking a stand against him. They know they could do better with a competent manager but they're trying to be professional.

This is all started with Moyes who was keen on respecting the refs and don't make hismjob harder by manipulating the ref expecting the ref to respect the team back but they didn't.
