Cant see that. Both know the chance of a new deal, other than a rubbish one, is hugely unlikely anyrate. Even if we had won the CL last season.

Time will tell perhaps. I'm sure neither is expecting some great new playing deal but they both might fancy a player/coach gig.

Don't know about Barry but think there is a reasonable chance the delay on sorting the futures of the likes of Osman and Pienaar is to stop them piping up.

Pienaar already has.

Saying its 'unfair' to wait till end of season.

After hes been out 2 years and did one to spurs.

How can you explain the contrast between the Cup tie against Chelsea and the League games against West Ham and Arsenal?

It's a mystery to me. Surely the players should be fighting for their places in the semi-final, and even in the final. There is competition for most positions.

The truth is we weren't all that good against Chelsea either.

But for once we never gift wrapped a goal for the opposition and big Rom took a brainstorm and bullied their defenders into submission.

Mind you, there was nowt wrong with the performance agsinst West Ham.....for the first 77 minutes :(

We played some great stuff with ten men and they looked to be a man short, not us.

Then came the substitution which looks to have set Bobby on the road to no town :(

Chelsea totally different to Utd game BUT we were on top until coleman forgot his job again.

If we had scored first we would have won, one of those games.

Zat.....if there is one thing we have learned from this season it is that scoring first is no guarantee of winning the game for us :(

Since howard was punted its only been wham hasnt it?

Im pretty appalled by Baines comments and also jags interview after the game.

For me it shows a weak mentality. What we need is a true captain to emerge or brought in with some fire.

Colemans fault we played an appalling formation with no structure and with very little in the way of attacking creativity?

If the refs didnt beat on us
If the fans were better
If only Lukaku didnt miss that peno
If only Mirallas didnt take that peno off Baines

Roberto Martinez, the IF man.

We didnt score first and it wasnt one of those games, its been happening for 18months now, IF it was "just one of those games", we would all gladly shrug it off, but it was almost an copy of the Arsenal game, no tempo from the players, no desire, very little in the way of attacking intent and a limp defeat, same old, same old.

Yeah, loads of people with weak mentality stand up and say enough is enough.
