Why would Bill trust his club to a foreign manager that he has no relationship with when one of his close friends, who knows the club inside out is available? He'll argue that Davey is a better manager for his time at United and Sociedad and that we can now give him the funds that were denied him in his first spell.

Bill isn't pulling the strings no more

end of the day it is starting to look like he has lost the dressing room. lukaku made comments then baines and now jags. The interview Martinez did after the united game was a desperate man who had ran out of excuses. The press have got onto it and the media wont let it go. Leighton Baines is one of the quietest guys in the squad and for him to speak up well that speaks volumes to me.

Moyes was excellent for Everton results wise - he's become unpopular, irrationally because he joined Man U - but in reality how could the poor bu**** turn down the invitation to succeed SAF

There would be far worse choices - he already knows the club which is a plus. The issue is he never demonstrated the ability to compete beyond a certain level

Now we are a richer club we can attract proven winners

The way Moyes and the club parted, just don't see BK and him still being close friends, also think a lot of fans wouldn't want him back (me included) because it would feel like a step backwards, and because of the crap Moyes came out with when he went to the Manc's.

The absurdity of claiming this season has been a good one when we are bottom half because of two semis. Have that come out of our previous managers mouth and there would be literal blood. Hell, our fn CAPTAIN said a "top half finish for a club life Everton was a good finish" and he was almost castrated.

Have some respect for yourselves ffs
This- in loud big letters.
