Still no sign of the football industry clamour to pass comment on the apparent Everton managerial crisis.

Not exactly surprised like. Midtable and a crack at silverware. Who in their right mind are going to go further than the usual "well, they've under-performed this season" line? Maybe the hater of all things Everton Phil'TheGargoyle'McNulty might chip in with a bit of bile later in the week. But no one's arsed about him either.

Oh dear! Perhaps you might want to consider that this might be something to do with what he has turned us into.

Regular top end of the table finishers to below mid table nonsense that nobody even cares about.

A mighty feat in itself, something as a Martinez groupie you should take great pride in.

The worry is Moshiri hands Kenwright the job of hiring the new bloke, obviously anyone is an improvement on Martinez but I would want a quality replacement not a Kenwright special in a Eddie Howe.

I very much doubt this. Do you think he'd invest so much money only to let someone else make one of the most important decisions a club faces if not the most?

Because nobody cares about us outside of the fan base. We are the club that's just there in the league, so why would we get special attention?

Especially in a season which has had Leicester Chelsea Aston villa Newcastle spurs city and untied all making more interesting headlines.

Just curious, Whats the opinion on Martinez in Liverpool? Sometimes the internet can act a bit like a wind tunnel with regard to a certain opinion. Is the online dissatisfaction representative of how the average match going Evertonian feels?

Interesting points from Baines about chemistry. There is none whatsoever. What's the point of having the best left back in the country if no one passes to him in the final third. The issue as well is he can't play his way into form at the moment.
I thought for all of his average qualities, the one thing Cleverley would bring is his ability to get LB into the games.

I don't blame the manager for this UNTIL the end of the summer window.

We need winners and leaders, both of which cost a pretty penny. Any funds we've had have been used to bolster/replace ageing and players who don't fit the blue print. Thats fine, and perfectly forgivable, but we need some genuine, top quality players in at CM. Players who will give the current midfield and defence the rollicking they need when they try and beat the world on their own, maverick quest for stardom or alternatively passively go backwards.

It's the defining summer for RM. He needs to find a RB, 2 CMs, a left winger/playmaker, a CB and GK. He needs to rid the squad of deadwood.

I trust him to spend the cash well however I'm sure the rest of the Cult will agree with, with money in his pocket he has to find players, and rapidly, who will want to take us forward as a team, not just use us a way of taking their own careers forward.

I agree with Baines. There is no chemistry.

In til the end

Again, while technically midtable, 12th (on goal difference) is better described as bottom half

What more needs to be said than he's underperformed. That's as damning an indictment as there is.

Was it Dave Thomas or Tony Thomas said that :pint2:
