Come on mate by all means have an opinion on the season but this post is rubbish - even LVH admitted they stole it - had we been more clinical a point would have been the least we would have got.

...based on what? We hit the bar and had ONE shot on target all game I think?

Minus Lukaku's goals and we'd be in doo doo land villa style
Not as bad you think really.
Had a quick scan earlier and a lot of his goals were in games we lost anyway or won comfortably. A few draws would have been losses but these may have been negated with his replacement chipping in even half of Roms total.

Maybe. But we'd have someone else up front who might have been alright.

Not saying you are wrong as its s good chance but it's impossible to say really.

Chances are we'd have signed someone who scored 10 to 15 goals a season.

It'd be oversimplifying things to say that the difference would put us in danger of relegation, but it would probably would do.

I mentioned the MLS simply are their fans are a tad overzealous and I was thinking that's the level of support you expected from us.

For Christ's sake they have a fella at one team chainsawing wood when they score.
If that was at Goodison he'd have a steak bake launched at his head and legged out the ground 5 mins in.
Ironic...you wouldn't want to be an aroused fan!! lol lol

There was nothing in the game we missed an absolute sitter as well as having several good position which we didn't make the most of. I don't recall Robles having a save to make - hence yes toe/toe. Season is frustrating enough without bending what actually happened.

is that Portland ?
watched them the other week, they had a banner with you fought the wood but the wood won?
get behind the team decent in fairness to them

Robles was rather a sporting chap giving the ball a good welly into the back of the net. On a serious note, united were there for the taking. The team seemed to lack belief and direction. Besides the jagielka effort straight at de gea, united were untested. With poor league form and a clueless manager who knows what will happen in the semi final

Royle until the end of the season, he works at the club and will have respect of all the players and will therefore know them. Then move heaven and earth to get a top manager, a proven one. It'll make a statement to any potential signings.

You'd sack martinez now and bring in Joe Royle?

I'm a huge fan of Royles but theres 20 years gone by since he was our manager.

The fans aren't toxic. The atmosphere is because of the toxic polarizing figure that Martinez is.
Still playing that tune are you?
Polarizing isn't the Manager. Polarizing is the rubbish seen on the park, and the fluffity fluff spoken about that same rubbish afterwards.
The supporters at the game are not fools, as you are constantly making them out to be writing this.

It's mass hysteria, organised by a lynch mob of the self-entitled, we play football that has been touched by the gods and have been or are about to be in 2 domestic cup semi finals....oh and 24 months ago we got 72 points.

Think that's everything.

And don't forget

'if Martinez is not comfortabley in the top half of the table he has nowhere to hide'. -davek
