He just hasn't got the ability lads end of.

He isn't going to turn it around he isn't going to do anything special.

Without lukakus goals we would be in the relegation zone.

He is not made to be a manager at the top level in this country

At the time, yes of course he should have been. Imagine if someone on the board after the final day in 1998 said "hang on we can't sack Howard, what about all those trophies he won in the mid-80's?"

I'm not trying to say that figures don't matter BUT, you can prove anything you like with stats.

Martinez found us in the top 6 and has made us bottom half. That to me is going backwards. It's not like he was left a terrible squad either.

Say what you like about cups, but he's not won anything for us yet. We're in a semi, not a final so we're far from winning it, and our league form is not good enough.

I don't get it when people say this might as well say Spurs without Harry Kane would be midtable, Leicester without Mahrez would be bottom half and so on
