Begovic or Ospina for me. Both huge step up on what we have. I would consider them good keepers, not world class. But would see us through the next few years no problem.

Exactly what we don't need in my opinion.
Top class keeper required. Forget the epl if he isn't in it.

I agree a top class keeper is needed. But if rom and stones go. I'd rather be spending like £8 mil on begovic and the rest of the budget on replacing them two

I'd like to know what Nigel Martyn thinks.

Of any keepers in recent years. For the money paid and the quality of his performances.

He's been the best keeper for Everton by a considerable distance.

Butland isnt gettable now hes extended his contract and is out injured in the summer.

Schmeichel has done well this season but who knows if its a one off for all their players.

Begovic went to chelsea to be a number 2. No desire.

The rest are dreadful....

Sergio Rico = Will be better than De Gea and 1st choice for Spain soon.

Bernd Leno = Hes basically got the Southall effect going for him...strikers dont believe they can score past him hes that good.

Donnarumma = Only 17 but chelsea rumoured to be after him. Hes going to be insanely good. We go for young players and have money....

Few more i could list down all far better than the ones listed.

Pickfords also going to be the next keeper to push through in england. Butland will be above Hart soon as well but Pickford looks good

Think it will be a brilliant move by the manager to sign one of the first three keepers i mentioned. However i have a sneaky suspicion we will make a bid for Ter Stegen as he would be the ideal clone of a Martinez dream keeper.

Just checked his wiki. Hes a coach at bradford now.

I know its hard to assess coaches and who knows if hes any good or not but its nice to see former players as coaches.

Southall didnt come back (weird one that) but Martyn and also Cahill would be two coaches id like simply for them being former players. Also Dave Watson at Newcastle.

The coaches we have all had nothing playing careers but who knows if they are good coaches...mourinho did pretty well for himself.

Berghara i wouldnt have a clue about but Martyn would (id expect) be decent...even to have him as a advisor and actually scout for us would be better than bradford id hope.

Just voted for ones I think would be realistically available if we enquired so Foster, Vorm and Begovic.

Stoke will not sell Butland and if they do he will go to a side in europe and the good ones like Schmeichel and Forster won't be available. The rest are all a bit meh anyway so would any of the others be better than the three I listed.

Begovic all day. People judging him on a handful of appearances for Chelsea have short memories.

But, why join chelsea knowing his gametime would be limited as 2nd choice?

Shows no desire to play and no hunger....

Ter-Stegen is in the same boat because he signed as 2nd choice but expected to be 1st choice soon after but then barca signed another keeper. Hes now trying to get a move away...thats the type of mentality we need.
