Haha, I was in Eureka last night. Probably the best quality Greek I've eaten at in this country, but the service was shockingly bad. I went to Istanbul in Woolton Village last week, again it was great and deserves its nomination for best kebab in England. But Eton Place was still tops for me.

The best thing about the Nile was its homemade bread and special sauce that they would give you for free while you waited.

I really need to stop eating out.
In the past (around three years ago) they were even better as it was owned by a gentleman called Bilal (sp?) and they were simply amazing.

However, the size of the restaurant restricted his plans so he sold a large stake of the business to a family member and he moved to Formby.

Now the kebabs in both restaurants are still good in both, yet for whatever both locations have never been able to live up the early high standards.

I'll have to try Eton Place as regardless of all the good reviews I've seen and heard, I've never actually decided to go.

It's the Eureka that used to be in town, down by Bedford st south/myrtle street but he got jibbed for student accommodation.
Was there for about 20 years if I am right, boss restaurant and let's you take your own ale.
For one second I hadn't fathomed out that they would probably be one and the same, even though they'd talk about a new property in the area.

I was a huge fan of the original Eureka so will definitely have to give it a try.

I drove to Stoke once for a kebab. Went out with a girl who was originally from there and she told me how good they were, so I went. It was Venus Fish bar in Stoke. Lovely. I actually did it twice. (on separate nights like, I'm not mental)
