Has it reopened? That place closed down years ago! Personally, the best place for a kebab has to be Friends on Smithdown Road.
Its actually being ran again by the guy who ran it before it was cinnamon in the 90's. The fella with green eyes. Actual proper donner meat! Have to try friends.

You sir are correct. Botan deserves a mention too. As for Restaurant kebabs Eton Place is the best.
Botan is indeed good although it's often a stretch to drive all the way to town for a kebab when Friends is a mere five to ten minutes away.

The Nile (Smithdown Road) was also once a top establishment as well, but it's certainly deteriorated recently: greasy and really not very nice.

There's a new place on Picton High Street which I think is called Eureka which is a greek restaurant and their kebabs are meant to be amazing.

Best I've had though is from the Istanbul BBQ in Woolton village - they were utterly amazing. Unfortunately, the owner and chef moved to Formby!

Haha, I was in Eureka last night. Probably the best quality Greek I've eaten at in this country, but the service was shockingly bad. I went to Istanbul in Woolton Village last week, again it was great and deserves its nomination for best kebab in England. But Eton Place was still tops for me.

The best thing about the Nile was its homemade bread and special sauce that they would give you for free while you waited.

I really need to stop eating out.

Think it's in Turkey mate.

Have to say I'm not really picky when it comes to kebabs, probably because I'm completely leathered when I feel the urge to have one.
