Liverpool set for huge takeover that could fund Jurgen Klopp’s mega-money transfer deals
LIVERPOOL are in advanced talks with prospective new owners from the Middle East over a huge takeover, according to reports.
The Reds, who are currently owned by American sports investment company Fenway Sports Group, are valued at around £650million.

FSG have been at the helm of Liverpool since they bought the club for £300m in October 2010.

But according to the Daily Star, the rising value of the club is attracting interest from the Middle East.

The report claims club officials are in advanced talks with the prospective new owners.

ah damn, on today of all days

There is going to be lots of clubs being bought now and in future with the new huge tv deal.
Do you think this would be good for Liverpool though mate, if it were to happen? Or would they be likely to lash even more eye-watering amounts of cash on absolute tripe in their seemingly endless rebuilding process? Interested in your thoughts, as a blue with some considerable insight into LFC.

So they won't play this prospective Europa game at Goodison in August. Bit petty to make their fans travel to Wigan or Bolton or Blackburn. Oh and only sell around 30,000 tickets as well. Very nice and neighbourly of them. Weren't that assed about letting the Mancs use their pit back in the 70s were they? Then again maybe Bolton are giving them it for nowt since they owe them 100K for Spearing.

lolz at gerrard given dele alli advice on playing for england.
Gerrard who was voted/a candidate on the BBC3 show for England's worst ever XI. The guys who continuously flopped on the international stage and who's most noteworthy moment was diving against andorra.
