We ALL support Everton. It's a club we love. And I am passionate in my disquiet as to where this current management team is taking us - and I post accordingly. Some claim this is me just being negative...but in reality it's just me stating home-truths.We are so much better (potentially), than where we are.

Unfortunately there is cheap point scoring (at its peak after we beat Chelsea...) but I dont think this is true. Fans like Martinez as a person in my opinion and are desperate for him to succeed, but the results are what they are.

I think the players will actually get into gear for an FA Cup game. Today we were awful, I can't deny it. Maybe a few of the lads are already thinking about their moves next season but they will want to win that trophy. Martinez will get next season whether we win the FA Cup or not and I think most people realize that.

Nope, two awful seasons in a row is enough. A cup win will surely buy him another season but what if we are 11th again this time next year? Do you still think he is rebuilding?

Obviously he just cannot do that. Swansea, Stoke, West Brom and Leicester etc. Won 4 games at home with 3 home games to go.

Obviously it's all about opinions mate, and it would be boring if we all agreed, but I still think Martinez is the right man for the job, and will get it right.

I do not disagree with a word you say. R Martinez will be here for another season at least. But I cannot mask my sadness at this reality.

What's really concerning is that he genuinely believes we are in a better place now then the start of his tenure. He had a long chat with my dad in Chelsea hospitality in their champions league game before our game. Said he was very happy with the teams progression!! I find that shocking. You can argue we do have a nucleus of a very good team under him, but a 17% win rate in 3 seasons is not progression where it matters
