If/when we get knocked out of the cup he needs to go. If we win the cup give him till September. Nothing else to say on the matter.

Look, the fume is understandable. However, it changes NOTHING.

We have a Wembley date and we've had a strong cup season this time around. The Pl position is woeful, but it'll be taken by those in control as something that HAS to be rectified next season....but there WILL be a next season for Martinez at Everton.

Struggle against that all you like, and abuse me all you wish, that is the cast iron certainty we're looking at though.

...whatsmore - you know it.

You seem to be under the deluded impression that other people on this site expect action as a result of their posts i.e. if enough us want Martinez out it will actually happen. No one thinks that. We know our opinions won't change reality but this is a fans forum. It is about opinions and debate. Martinez is not doing a good job. We are not developing as a team and some players are going backwards - Stones and Barkley.

Here's my point: Everyone bar...well, not barring anyone, actually...midweek accepted Martinez is here at least till Christmas next season...then we get another loss and there's people convinced that is it, he's going either now or in the summer.

You can see how no one could take these people seriously?

show me where i said after the chelsea game that he will be here until next christmas no matter what Dave?

will be waiting to see this post of mine

No but what I'm saying is, is this result on its own enough to change his job status? Nah. We lost to a good Arsenal side because the players didn't turn up. If we continue to lose at home I'll probably change my tune as well, but not because of today.

I would argue it was the manner in which we lost, rather than looking at the scoreline and accept it was probably the most likely outcome.

Then again, we've lost in this manner against lesser teams as well I suppose.

So you're talking on behalf of everyone to suit your agenda? No Evertonian I know wants Martinez to remain at the club beyond the end of the season, FA Cup win or not. That opinion is also apparent on this forum. Reasonable Evertonians have formed their opinions about Martinez over the long term, not game to game.

There are a few knee jerkers on here who get excited by the rare wins

I am satisfied with yo momma

You only show up to cry and moan. You're just like yo momma.

Seriously, you can go and play Fifa rathering than insulting another poster with the abovementioned phase while this is a free world and you can always express your opinion as you will.

You may be 30 sth but never able to grow up like an adult. Just accept people can have opinion which is different to yours.

He shouldn't be here until christmas next season though, that's part of the problem. Any side with ambition would fire him for this league position and the defeats at home to Swansea, west Brom, West Ham etc etc...

You know he is bombing massively, I don't know what you are trying to gain by suggesting otherwise.

Manager still doesn´t know how to set up a team defensively. He has turned John Stones into a 3 million pound player. He´s over hyped Barkley without trying to improve the obvious deficiencies in his game. All that matters are results. The cup runs are a red herring. In the cups we´ve beaten lower league teams, Bournemouth´s reserves and a poor Chelsea team. If we´d been drawn against City in the 3rd round instead of the semis we wouldn´t even be talking about the league cup, ditto the FA cup. The league is what tells you how your season has panned out and this season has been horrendous not only because of how the team has performed but also because of the openness of the league this year. With this squad we could and should be challenging for the Champions league.

I'm giving you the facts mate. He's here and he's here for some time to come. Care to contradict that assertion?

This is just bluster. You have no idea of Moshi's plans. If they are considering a new manager I doubt they'd make a public announcement. It will just come out of the blue.
