That is sadly true. Speaking as a southern based lad.

Much as we wish they would, non football readers of the events will not say, "Oh, but they wernt Everton fans".
I always care for nothing others think who are not in possession of the facts

Well the fact is that Liverpool fans were in some ruck last night, and non football folk outside of Liverpool will not separate LFC from Liverpool the city.

I'm not sticking up for them, you will not find a bitter blue worse than me but I feel no disgrace about what they did last night at all

I think myself that such behavior does not represent the club, it's fanbase and the city well or portray any of those in a good light.Be that Everton or Liverpool or any club anywhere for that matter but as the saying goes we'll just agree to disagree.

There was a lot more to his piece to tell you the truth, and he does make a couple of valid points in it.

I don't know, Lou.

Doubts about the stadium or grudges over past grievances with fans from a completely different team do not alter the fact that no rampage by the Kopites equals no fatalities.

It is that simple.

Any valid points he makes, and I cannot see them if I am honest with you, is completely undermined when he states in the last paragraph that English fans as a whole did not blame the Kopites for the ban....they blamed Thatcher.

I knew of no football fans back then who did not blame Liverpool for the ban....and I know none today.

Dalglish is living in cuckoo land if he believes that.

Football fans lay the blame squarely where it belongs......at the doors of Anfield.

Look mate I don't feel I've been disgraced by them last night so I take your original post as way over the top,I won't agree to disagree on that,I went out today and felt the same as yesterday

If you understand what I'm saying we'll draw a line under it how about that

Delivered a parcel to this lad this morning. Had a scouse accent, so just said, "Been down here long mate"

(As you know, I have zero scouse accent!)

"Not long, great result last night" His first words to me! Well, after "Morning".

Just odd.
Go on roydo admit it

You nutted him and walked off calling him a murdering kopite ****

After the back forth over the last few minutes i do accept you're point that my post was over the top.I just seem to get a bit more bothered by any form of hooligan behavior than you do but i take you're points on board and in hindsight it is hilarious some bloke from Cork talking about the city of people and it's people.I do love Everton as passionately as any supporter from the city though and my best friend from my school years before life took us in different directions was a Liverpool fan.I love Everton.I love Liverpool as a city.I just don't like a certain element of Liverpool fans.
