Was looking online and came across this photo of Williamson Square from 2002, when everyone gathered to watch the England vs Argentina game in the World Cup:

Did anyone on here go to this? Or have you seen anything else major on a big screen outdoors?

I was in JRs bar,the only time I want England to win is against Argentina

I was at a festival in Portugal once and they were playing the 6 Pence None the Richer song, they zoomed into couples and stay in them until they kissed. It was on TV and a massive screen.

It happened to us and it was mortifying.

I watched both 2010 World Cup semi finals in the main square in Prague. Brilliant atmosphere and cheap ale. It all went off between the Germans and the Dutch in some club later on though.

24/06/2004, England v Portugal, Glastonbury with about 65,000 people, it was on the Thursday night and they showed it on the Pyramid stage. Would have been quite good if we hadn't lost on penalties and I hadn't been chasing some skirt that had been leading for on for longer than I care to remember.

I hate watching sport in boozers never mind outdoors . If I'm not at the event I'd rather be in my own home watching it

Though I have watched 2 mayweather cards while in America at the cinema . Which was boss .

Saw the first half here and seem to remember it being a bit dull so we went all the way to the Caledonia for the second half
