Moshiri isn't dumb. He'll have his reasons for what seems at first glance a bleach-worthy decision - even though I don't see them.

The reason is to maintain continuity with the existing regime, so as to not come across as authoritarian in his ownership.

I get that, but its still a bad mistake.

RE's appointment as a director is not a promotion, he continues his role as CEO. This appointment just tidies up the previous situation where Elstone was a board member but not director which is not an ideal scenario.

Do you think Moshiri will be a board member?

And just out of interest, wasn't one of the reasons he seemed to get frustrated at arsenal was because he didn't have a seat on the board?

Checking through the thread so far mate, it may all go very negative, but ofc your by a way the most negative person posting here, so maybe try thinking about why things are done rather than jumping out the window first opportunity
Not really mate, I was definitely positive after the Chelsea game and what he had to say etc, but then he puts in Elstone as a director, and I know it doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things but it doesn't indicate that he is going anywhere anytime soon.
