Lord Owen has had business dealings with Moshiri since 1995 when the company that Owen was then Chairman of, Middlesex Holdings, helped a company called OEMK (whose MD was Moshiri) with global sales of Aluminium.

As @Moomin stated, Owen is in late 70's and has never expressed any interest in football. His resignation of directorships in December cannot be related to Moshiri's deal with Everton as that was nowhere near certain at the time.

Whilst it's interesting he was there, it's no more significant than one old friend supporting another in my opinion.

Perfect politician, calls himself a social-democrat - works with oligarchs to gut Russia and steal wealth from the people.

Greg o'Keefe went through a phase on Twitter where he just kept shutting down any type of good rumour

Hahaha

Not shutting down anything mate, I just prefer to deal with facts than supposition.

Besides there is nothing Owen can bring to Everton that we couldn't get from more contemporary figures.

I know mate , any clues when he could be brought on to the board?

This might sound a bit abstract but when we reflect and look back and see what Bill and Moyes did for Everton. We hung in there in face of relegation, no money, pulled ourselfs up the league and stabilised. Moyes having to sell the odd gem he created. Bill and Moyes are the dirt this Moshiri tree will grow from. I mean that in the most complementary way.

Moshiri must be on the board already as we need a minimum of 3 directors. I imagine once the money hit Earl's account (likely only after the ratification last week) he was off like a shot.

Because there's absolutely no foundation in it. In fact the evidence and briefing of Usmanov's people is the precise opposite.

Moshiri alone should provide enough space for speculation.

And?

a lot of posts will have to stop if it's only solid sources from now on.
